Once again, I was honoured to be a part of this year’s Africa Fashion Week, London, which took place at the Free-Mason House in Holborn. As a model, it is not always possible to see the beautiful displays outside the exhibition areas because the time between changes for the next shows are normally very short. This time however, I did manage to go outside and spent a little time admiring all the designs and products displayed by stall exhibitors and other showcasers, and my goodness, what a colourful and dazzling display it truly was..!!!
Make up for the show was done by Abbie May and her crew using ‘TWOK’ make up who sponsored the models’ looks for both days! The catwalk was so much fun (as usual) and I was simply amazed by the creativity of some of the designers that showcased. My personal favourite has to be by “Becca Apparel” whose designs were very chic and wearable. she had great use of colour and print and I loved her collection.
